The influencer was accused of attempted femicide, and he remains in prison today.
Despite rumors, Fofo Márquez’s victim Edith ‘N,’ denies reaching a settlement with him and even says she might sue his girlfriend.

Who is telling the truth?
In an interview with Imagen Entretenimiento’s Sale el Sol, Fofo Márquez’s victim denied reaching a settlement with the influencer.
«They talk about amounts, 16 million pesos (almost $1 million USD) and this is not true,» said Edith ‘N’ emphatically.
Additionally, she said that she has had to pay for all of her medical bills resulting from the beating.
«There has been no economic offer of any kind from his family, nor from the lawyers,» she added.
Fofo Márquez’s girlfriend did nothing to stop him
On the other hand, if there’s someone who has not been mentioned much in this case, it is Fofo Márquez’s girlfriend, Melanie Lattanzi.
Based on one of the videos, it looks like the young woman helped him escape after the brutal beating.
For this reason, Edith ‘N’ says she might sue her and that she will discuss this with her lawyers.
